Crystallized ginger in pieces in presentations of 1Kg and 10Kgs. packaged by Frutos Secos San Blas.
Crystallized ginger consists of pieces of ginger that have been boiled slowly and for a few minutes in a syrup. The resulting pieces of ginger are reminiscent of sugar-coated jelly beans. They are soft, pleasant to the touch and can be consumed as is, as if it were a sweet, preserving all the characteristic flavor of ginger although without the spicy factor typical of fresh ginger. It can also be used for pastries or as a recipe ingredient where we look for both the taste of ginger and sweetness, as is the case for example from many currys, chutneys or certain Chinese dishes. The advantage is that once crystallized, ginger is preserved almost indefinitely in a glass jar so it is good to always have one in the pantry in case one day we forget to buy the fresh ginger.
Crystallized ginger, like other dried fruits, has several benefits including: they reduce the risk of cancer, prevent heart disease, are rich in fiber, are suitable for diabetic people, strengthen and protect bones against disease, and positively influence pregnancy.

- Store the glazed ginger in a cool, dry place that is not exposed to light
- It is recommended to consume the glazed ginger before 18 months of its packaging date
