Celebrate Christmas with children: every day a fiesta!
Christmas is a symbol of fiesta and joy, especially for the little ones in the house. On these dates we can share with them thousands of fun activities: singing carols, making homemade ornaments, decorating the tree, preparing the menu... you can not miss any details!
The fiesta must begin with the preparations. Let the whole family get to work! Our little ones are on vacation and have to have a good time. There are important issues to agree with them: what do we put in the tree, how do we assemble the nativity scene, what will be the menu of Christmas lunches and dinners?
The décor
If you have some time and a lot of imagination, you can do them yourself, too. One of the most common ornaments is manufactured by having in the center of a dish or bowl golden candles surrounded by a mistlede crown or nuts and pineapples.
It is also easy to garland by combining green branches with spikes and closing them in the shape of a crown with red ribbon. Please note that red, green and gold are the colors that govern Christmas.
Here are some proposals to decorate the house at Christmas: Homemade Christmas Decorations.
The Nativity Scene
Let them decide the location of the characters and choose the decoration with total freedom. I'm sure the results will be more than surprising. In addition, the nativity scene can change as the days go by and we come up with new ideas: "What if we put a brother on the Child? What if San Jose went on a trip for a few days like Dad? Each year, some figurines will have to be replenished or the number of inhabitants expanded. You can also include Barbies, clicks or any favorite doll of our children.
And once the stage is set, why not let the kids play a little with the characters in the nativity scene?
The Christmas Tree
Choosing the Christmas tree and adorning it is what excites the children the most, in addition, in its decoration is worth everything.
- An easy way to make varied ornaments is to assemble cardboard cubes in different sizes and let the kids decorate them: glitter, stickers, glued cutouts..., everything looks good.
- To make it easier for them to decorate their faces before assembling the cube.
- If coated with rice or sand glued and painted they are very striking.
You can also make Christmas tree ornament at home.
Food
- A good Christmas banquet has dishes for all tastes. It's no use that they can choose their menu so they can discover the pleasure of eating. What if they choose fries, breaded steaks and ketchup? Don't be alarmed, you'll discover the oysters and the pheasant. Now, what you're learning is that eating rich things with those we want is a very beautiful celebration.
- You can't miss the nougats, powders, peels and nuts typical of these festivals at home.
- Children will be happy to help prepare the trays and will give a festive feeling at any home time.
- From the age of two, you will love that we put your twelve grapes (without skin or pipes) like the rest of the family, to celebrate the arrival of the New Year (you do not need to eat them).
- The roscón de Reyes can not miss either: finding the surprise that stays inside is the last great emotion of the festivities.
Christmas
- Kids love mail. Sending and receiving congratulations is part of the illusion of this time. Even if the family lives nearby, we can make (or buy) Christmas cards and send them to them. We can ask them to correspond to us and make a mural with the christmases.
- You can install a cork panel and pinch them as they arrive. If you place it at the entrance of the house, the first thing we will see when we get home will be how much they love us and the happiness they want us.
